Last year our company headed towards the realization of “GAC Vision 2015,” a long term concept focused on the next ten years. Our whole company worked together for strengthening this road.
This year the following three principles have been adopted to strongly drive forward the realization of “GAC Vision 2015.”

Regarding our first principle, “complete quality and safety,” quality preservation is a business premise. Set rules and work methods are adapted to meet the needs of locations and products, and we would like to win our customer’s trust by complete honesty. The same idea applies to workplace and traffic safety. By following the rules completely, this year should be free of accidents. We will “complete” everything so that customers will say, “Because GAC’s quality and safety are sound, I feel at ease letting them handle the job.”

Our next principle is “the strong promotion of global business.” In line with our business growth scenario revealed during the last fiscal year, this year we would like to move forward in the strong promotion of various themes. Together with plans to make our hose and pipe business division a world leader, we are accelerating the establishment of new productions bases in China’s Guangzhou region and Southeast Asia as well as considering the establishment of a new European base.

In our specially-equipped vehicle division, our whole company is putting efforts into the substantial cost competitiveness of air conditioners found in construction equipment, the launch of a FT (Flat-Tube) heat exchanger business aimed at air-conditioning for business use, a bus air conditioner joint venture in China, etc.

In our new air conditioner division, as well as our existing products, expanding the selection of our food-related devices, expanding sales of sleep recorders, and putting effort into the development and commercialization of air-conditioning systems for all types of buildings, we are promoting thorough profit reforms for each individual product. Furthermore, technology fostered by sleep recorders can be applied to the development of other health and medical devices. By blending our company’s fundamental air-conditioning cooling and heating technology, we would like to join in the creation of machines and service systems that can provide new added value.

Our third principle is “the further enhancement of business quality.” In order for this company to grow as a true global business along with Toyota and the DENSO Group, much stronger business quality is necessary. Together with the acceleration of activities such as raising management quality due to TS and ISO, company internal control initiatives, and CSR development, we would also like to put effort in the enhancement of office, technology, and skill work training possibilities, respectively, and plan to increase each employee’s occupational abilities. Although the Skill Training Center was recently established, we would like to polish core skills where we can be proud to say, “This is the DNA of GAC product making skills!”, and lead in the skill improvement of the entire GAC group.

We are making efforts again this year to aim to be an excellent company which can say, “Bringing happiness and inspiration to customers all over the world.”
